WARNING: I apologize beforehand for the contents of this post. I am overtired. And yes, we are dorks.
An Extra Note: Those stalking me, and who don't know these people. Krust, Kragon Linguini, Linguini, Krags, Krusty Dragon, Kristi, Krustine, Kristine, and Booger Noodle. Are all the same person. I just like to mix it up a little.
Friday was pep band. That's already bound to be fun, right? Yeah, well it wasn't just fun, it was fun to the EXTREME. You know why?! Because Meganny was there. Megan's awesome, I miss Megan. Not only that but we played Don't Stop Believin' for the first time in front of a crowd. This may have been our last football pep band, but I think we made it our best one, so I'm okay with that.
After pep band -- and our pasties-- we went to Kragon Linguini's house. We consisted of: Krust, Kayla, Erica, Lindsay, Megan, Ashley (although she got there shortly after us) and me. This spectacular wasn't like any other Spectac, this Spectac was on Krust's Birthday weekend. So I made her a cake! It was purple with green frosting and prettiful. Friday night was declared "French Movie Night", although we only watched one French movie, The Count of Monte Cristo. Which really wasn't all that Frenchie, but at least it wasn't traumatizing (I've heard stories).
After our movie, it was time for Things. I'm forbidden to speak of this, so let's just that it was funny. Things ended when our chatting overtook our minds. We don't know who won, really, nobody cares. I may be a hypocrite, but gossiping is fun. Especially when its about total morons.
Slowly people started going to sleep, until it was Erica, Lindsay, Ashley, and I. We shared scary ghost stories---Yeah, we're lame. Friday night ended at about four in the morning. The four of us claimed our spots and we fell asleep quickly. Saturday was an early morning for everyone, with the exception of Erica.
We were feeling adventurous, so we took a walk to a field, by the way "We" is everyone minus Erica-- Who is still sound asleep. (This field will later be mentioned during this post so I will only explain what it looks like once) The field is grassy and hilly, with parked red railroad carts. Little, big, and medium sized trees are scattered about. (The little-baby trees are cute). Well, anyways, its really awesome there.
I happened to know my way around a little bit, due to taking some of Krag's Senior Pictures there, and we headed over to show Ashley, Megan, Kayla, and Lindsay where Linguini almost fell over and died (She probably wouldn't've died, maybe broke her leg.) When we decided to be tough and cool, we were going to go on the other side of the railroad carts. Ashley and Megan decided we were crazy and left at this point.
Lindsay, Kayla, Krust, and I crawled underneath the carts, after "What if it runs us over?" didn't sound like a good excuse not to. The other side of the railroad was prettier than the first side. There was big rocks, and big trees. It was just a really awesome scene. I kept thinking it would make a great movie set.
After catching our breath, don't judge, the hill was steep-- and okay, I am a little out of shape. We returned to find that Erica was still asleep. She awoke around ten. Somehow an hor disappeared and Kyle showed up-- Megan left shortly after this. So we lost one and gained another. Grilled cheeses were on the menu. Not just grilled cheeses, Krust and I's Grilled Cheeses. I'm not going to explain, you would have to eat one for yourself.
Ashley, Kayla, and Erica left at some point. Leaving Lindsay, Kyle, Krags, and I.
---Scrapbooking and Accounting quizzes took place during this time. ---
Krust and I made Chicken & Jacks (also called "Chicken & Gleason", but thats lame, so its Jacks.) Erica came back after our vegetable cutting episode. All I can say is: Kyle cuts ugly carrot slices. While we made the Jacks (homemade noodles) we watched youtube videos. Making this dinner was a long process. It really wasn't as good as my Grandpa's, but it was our first time, and a lot of it was guessing. -- At least everyone else liked it.
We were completely and totally stuffed, so we went for another walk. And someone was smart enough to take a camera this time. This was the result:
It was great. We were even brave enough to go underneath the bridge-- viaduct, whatever its called. Which was terrifying at first, but turned out to be really cool. There was some interesting graffiti.
Frolicking around a field is spectacular.
When we returned, I was kinda nasty-sweaty so I took a shower. (That was useless information. I'll start this paragraph over.)
THEN WE CARVED PUMPKINS! That was extremely fun. I don't care how nasty pumpkin guts smell, the result is totally worth it.
The most important thing about Saturday, the thing we had to do for Krust's Birthday, the thing that everyone was waiting for -- excitedly or unexcitedly-- was "Jason Mraz's Beautiful Mess- Live On Earth" It doesn't stop there. We were going to watch it in slow-motion. (After getting permission) Kragon, Kyle, and I went to Krust's Aunt and Uncle's house to take their DVD player (Their's has slow-motion), we were ninja's.
We begun the concert-- but were quickly interrupted. As a favor we were asked to get drunk people ping-pong balls (I can't confirm they were drunk, but I'm sure there were going to use these balls to get drunk. Beer Pong, pfft.) We couldn't say no, these were the same people we were borrowing the DVD player from. So, after hunting through their garage -- this was much like easter-egg hunting-- Krags and I went to their party and gave them three lousy ping-pong balls. We returned back to everyone else and began the concert again -- much to their pleasure or disappointment.
Not only did we watch it in slow-motion but we watched some songs in fast-motion. This was quite enjoyable. We watched different parts of the DVD until a little past Midnight. Then we decided sleeping sounded like a good idea.
Sunday I woke up to laughter. I wanted to go back to sleep, but I also needed to know what was going on. Lindsay and Erica left moments after I got up. Kyle, Krust and I began getting ready for Church. It was a quiet ride to town -- Kyle and I were half asleep, thankfully Krags was really awake. Church was good, afterwards Kristi taught Sunday school while Kyle and I instigated 3rd and 4th graders. I know how to connect four dots with three lines.
We were pretty hungry after that. So we met Krust's Gramma in Pizza Hut's parking lot and walked to Econo foods-- we were waiting until it opened. Once it did, we ate... Way too much. After that we went to Wal*Mart and put some money on Krust's Wal*Mart card. There was no purple shirts, and no silver & black Lava Lamps. I'm disappointed in you, Wal*Mart. The money was for a few cents off on gas, which is what we did next. Gassed up the van, then we headed for dessert. A. K. A. The Midtown Mall. We discovered how to put money on my prepaid cell phone (Miss you Hughbert) and then bought some flavor-burst ice cream cones. Yum-O. I got Mocha-Carmel. Krags got Mocha. Kyle got Green Apple-Blue Raspberry. After loitering around the mall with our ice cream cones. The three of us were summoned by her Gramma, who was at Forward Financial and she bought us some Iced Coffee. Which I really didn't need because I couldn't even finish my 49 cent ice cream. Mmmm, Vanilla was good. I love iced coffee. Much better than hot coffee.
We were headed back to Krust's when I seen the Animal Shelter sign, sadly I said, "Aww, I've never been there before." A second later the blinker turned on and we were headed there. The three of us walked two doggies, they were adorable. Even if they were kind of spazzy. I felt pretty helpful and volunteer-like. Anyways, after our walk-- omigosh it was hot out today-- our trio went to Krag's. Krust and I unfortunately, had Accounting to do still. Dual Enrollement classes are a bad idea. We finished our exams which took awhile, and then we drove to my Grandpa's. Originally we were just going to visit, sense he said that the kittens weren't ready to see yet. But then my mom decided to show up and yank some kittens out of the couch. The kittens turned out to be only one kitten. An adorable little girl-- this is assumed because its calico. We dropped off Kyle on our way home, so Krust didn't have to go out of her way to do so.
Its sad that our adventure ended... But I'm really tired. And now that I don't feel like exploding, I think I might eat something.
10-10-10, what a wonderful day you were.
